Put Thinker on your phone
Thinker installs onto an iPhone or Android home screen like a normal app, with its own icon and no browser bar. It takes about thirty seconds and it is the single thing that makes people actually use it every day.

Questions this answers
- Is there a Thinker app for iPhone or Android?
- Not from the App Store, and you do not need one. Thinker installs from your browser onto your home screen with its own icon and opens full screen, so it looks and behaves like a normal app.
- How do I add Thinker to my iPhone home screen?
- Open mythinker.io in Safari (it has to be Safari), sign in, tap the Share button, choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. It takes about thirty seconds.
- How do I install Thinker on Android?
- Open mythinker.io in Chrome, sign in, tap the three dots top right and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. Android often offers its own Install banner first, and tapping that does the same thing.
- Does Thinker work offline or send notifications?
- No to both. It needs an internet connection, and it does not buzz at you. Everything is the same Thinker on your phone, your laptop and from Claude.
There is no App Store download, and you do not need one. Thinker installs straight from your browser onto your home screen, where it gets its own icon and opens full screen with no address bar. It looks and behaves like any other app on your phone.
Do this on day one. The difference between people who use Thinker daily and people who forget it exists is almost always whether it is sitting on their home screen or buried in a browser tab.
On an iPhone or iPad
- 1Open Safari and go to mythinker.io. It has to be Safari for this, not Chrome.
- 2Sign in, so the app opens straight into your day afterwards.
- 3Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen. It is the square with an arrow coming out of the top.
- 4Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- 5Tap Add, top right.
It appears on your home screen called Thinker. Tap it and you are in, full screen, no browser.
On an Android phone
- 1Open Chrome and go to mythinker.io.
- 2Sign in.
- 3Tap the three dots, top right.
- 4Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen if that is what yours says.
- 5Confirm.
On a laptop, if you want
Chrome and Edge will do the same on a computer. Look for the small install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar and click it. You get Thinker in its own window, off on its own away from your forty other tabs. Entirely optional, but some people prefer it.
What actually changes
- Its own icon on your home screen, so it is one tap rather than a browser and a bookmark.
- Full screen, with no address bar eating the top of the page.
- You sign in once. It should not keep asking.
- Everything is the same Thinker. Same tasks, same days, same everything, whether you open it on your phone, your laptop or from Claude.
Worth knowing
- It needs an internet connection. There is no offline mode, so on a plane or in a tunnel it will not load.
- It does not send you phone notifications. Nothing will buzz at you, which for most people is the point.
- Removing it is the same as any app: press and hold the icon, then delete. That only removes the shortcut. Your account and everything in it is untouched, and you can put it back any time.
