AI Knowledge: what Thinker knows about you

The single highest-value page in the app. What you write here is what every plan, briefing and idea review is judged against. Fifteen minutes here is worth more than any other setup you can do.

Questions this answers

What is AI Knowledge in Thinker?
The page where you tell Thinker about your business, who you sell to, where the work comes from, your number one goal this year and what you are focused on right now. Every plan, briefing and idea review is judged against it.
Why does my Success Day feel generic?
Almost always because AI Knowledge is thin or out of date. Long, honest, slightly rambling answers give much better days than short polished ones, and your goal is what every choice is measured against.
How often should I update AI Knowledge?
Once a month is enough, and there is a Review my AI Knowledge ritual set up for you when you join. If your focus has just shifted, change it today rather than waiting.

AI Knowledge is in the menu, near Settings. It is where you tell Thinker about your business and what you are working towards.

It matters more than anything else you set up. Without it, Thinker is guessing, and you will get sensible-sounding but generic days. With it, it can tell the difference between the task that looks productive and the task that actually moves your year.

First, say who you are

At the top you choose Business owner or Part of a team. That swaps the questions to the ones that make sense for you. Your answers to the other version are kept, so you can switch back without losing anything.

What to write

  • What does your business do? Say it plainly, the way you would to a friend, not the way you would on a website.
  • What do you sell? Actual offers, actual prices if you are comfortable.
  • Who do you sell to? Be specific. Busy solo consultants beats businesses.
  • Where does your work come from? Referrals, a newsletter, LinkedIn, an agency. This shapes what it thinks is worth your time.
  • Your number one goal this year. Put a number on it if there is one.
  • What you are focused on right now. This is the one that changes most, and it is the one that steers this month's days.
  • Capacity and constraints. Three days a week, school runs, a chronic illness, a day job. Say it. It plans around it.
  • Who does the work. Just you, a VA, a small team.
  • Anything else worth knowing. Quirks, deadlines, things to avoid. Use it as a catch-all.

What it powers

  • Your Success Day, and which work gets called goal-achieving.
  • Your morning briefing.
  • The verdicts on your ideas.
  • How your brain dump is sorted.
  • The scores it suggests when you press Auto-score on a task.

Keep it current

Your goal in January is not your goal in June. There is a monthly Review my AI Knowledge ritual set up for you when you join. Five minutes once a month is enough. If your focus has just shifted, go and change it today, do not wait for the ritual.
